Astelia Westland is a lovely selection with metalic silvery flax like foliage flushed with red and bronze tones.
This Astelia should be planted in free draining soil in a cool part of the garden. Westland will be happy in sun or partial shade . While this Astelia will need water over the hot summer months it is best to avoid watering over the foliage or into the crown.
Astelia Westland has an unusual foliage colour for the plant world and really stands out amongst the lush greens in a tropical setting. Westland also makes a great tub or container plant.
